Biographical Text : Kobe Bryant

        Kobe Bean Bryant or better known as Kobe Bryant is a basketball player in the NBA and plays for the Los Angeles Lakers club.

      Bryant is the youngest of three children of former Philadelphia 76ers basketball player and Los Angeles Sparks coach Joe "Jellybean" Bryant, with Pamela Cox Bryant. Bryant's parents gave the name 'kobe' which comes from the famous Japanese meat on a restaurant menu they saw. Although Bryant was born in America, he is very fluent in Italian and Spanish, because his father had invited him to move to Italy after retiring from basketball.

      In November 2009, Bryant who is still 21 years old dating Vanessa Laine who turns 17 years old and is still a senior student at Marina High School. At that time Laine was also working as a dancer for Tha Eastsidaz. They married two years later without the consent of Bryant's parents. Bryant's parents thought Laine was too young to marry, especially since he was not an African-American. The birth of Bryant's first child on January 19, 2003 (Natalia Diamante Bryant) finally melted the feelings of Bryant's parents and accepted Laine.

      Outside of basketball life, Bryant has collaborated with singer from Taiwan, Jay Chou. The proceeds from the sale of the song entitled "The Heaven and Earth Challenge" are used to develop basketball facilities and equipment. Bryant is also an official member of a non-profit organization working to help pay for children's schooling in America.

        The man who has the nickname Black Mamba played for the first time in the NBA in the 1996 season competition and has brought the Los Angeles Lakers 5 championships. Bryant once held the record for being the youngest player in NBA history to score as many as 24,000 at 31 years 75 days, surpassing Wilt Chamberlain's record at 31 years 113 days. He became the 17th player to score over 24,000.

    He died at the age of 42 years, it was reported that he died with his son in a helicopter crash in California, USA, Sunday (26/1/2020) local time. The helicopter carrying the former LA Lakers star caught fire while it was flying over the city of Calabasas. The helicopter had as many as five passengers and it was reported that all the people in it were killed.

       He is one of the basketball legends besides Michael Jordan, he really has great skills in basketball. There are so many people closest to him who really feel lost after the news of the crash of the helicopter he was traveling in. The public also felt that he was missing him very much.
